SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

The phase - 2 internship program as a part of my B.Ed. curriculum was started on 8 February 2021 at St. Joseph's HSS Thiruvananthapuram. There were 11 students from our college to this school. We reported the school at 10am. Before handing over the attendance register and other schedule for the internship to the headmaster, we were assigned for the concerned teachers.

TEACHING PRACTICE SESSION

The teaching practice session of the internship program was conducted in online mode for the students in standard 9 and 8. The first class was for 9th students from 6.00 - 7.00pm. The topic assigned for me was 'gravitation'. The class was done via google meet. The concepts was presented using slides. Images and videos related to the topic were added in the slides. For assessment online quiz creating 'Flexi' software was used. Even though there arise a lot of technical and network problems I was able to deliver the content successfully.

The second class was for 8th students from 8.00 - 9.00pm. The topic assigned for me was 'Reflection of light in spherical mirrors'. The class was done via google meet. The concepts was presented using slides. Images and videos related to the topic were added in the slides. For assessment online quiz creating 'Flexi' software was used. Even though there arise a lot of technical and network problems I was able to deliver the content successfully.

There were 99+ students in both classes. The class was monitored by the school HM, SUBJECT TEACHERS AND THE CLASSS TUTOR.
